  • Kathleen Adams

    Kathleen Adams is a co-founder of Cape Ann Arts Alive and longtime musical collaborator with founders Kristina Martin and Mark Nelson. For more than 30 years she has been the Music Director and Organist, as well as Artistic Director of the concert series at the Annisquam Village Church. As a teacher, she has mentored many students in vocal and keyboard arts. She has long been known as “Caterina la Canterina” , singing with the Italian American Band, entertaining in fiestas throughout the region. She will be serving CAAA as invaluable off-site consultant this season.

  • Daphne Peel Congelosi

    Originally from California, Daphne has been a Rockport resident for over 30 years. During this time she has served many roles in the Cape Ann community, as elementary school educator, director and producer of several community musicals, director of afterschool programs for the Rockport Public Schools and the Cape Ann YMCA, tourism promoter for Cape Ann for 22 years, caterer for private and civic events, and for the past 12 years, Hospitality Manager for Rockport Music...all of which are ever inspired by her ongoing roles as mother and Gigi.

  • Steve Lacey

    Steve Lacey enjoys an eclectic music career in his hometown of Gloucester, MA. With a B.A. in Music from Salem State University and M.M. in Jazz Studies at City College of New York, he has been teaching and performing for over 15 years. He has taught in many different settings, including former Gloucester music program - Sound Harbor, and O’Maley Middle and Gloucester Elementary schools. Presently, Steve teaches private and group lessons for guitar, ukulele, piano, organ, clarinet, recorder and saxophone, and performs regularly on Cape Ann and the greater Boston area. He also serves as the Music Director at Gloucester’s Unitarian Universalist Church.

  • Kristina Martin

    Kristina Martin is a co-founder of Cape Ann Arts Alive and has taught voice/chorus/theater arts locally with the Rockport Public Schools, the Waring School in Beverly, Annisquam Village Players, the North Shore Music Theater Ed program, and in private studio. She is the Youth Choir Director and Assistant to the Music Director at the First Congregational Church of Rockport. Professionally she has performed with the Kansas City Lyric Opera and Starlight Theater, the Washington Opera Company, North Shore Music Theater, and other Boston/Northshore organizations.

  • Jace Mason

    Jace began his musical life playing classical cello in the Rockport elementary school orchestra. In high school he changed his focus to Jazz Guitar, studying at Walnut Hill School for the Arts and the New England Conservatory Prep Program. Jace has been studying Jazz Composition and Cinema Studies in hopes of pursuing a career in film composition after graduation. In keeping with his eclectic tendencies and interest in American Folk traditions, he began a bluegrass ensemble and dove headfirst into Americana in his final year of college.

  • Kiva Trumbour

    Kiva Trumbour grew up in Rockport with a love of music, art, dance and nature. She graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2023 with a degree in Professional Music with Concentrations in Performance, Songwriting, and Music Education. She minored in Dance at The Boston Conservatory at Berklee. Currently, she performs in a Boston based Wedding Band Company, Groovin’ You Entertainment, and teaches voice lessons at Alexandra Grace’s Music Studio in Rockport. She teaches various styles of dance at Rockport Dance Academy , coaching their competition dance team. She enjoys cooking, writing, going to concerts and the beach.

  • Patti Pike

    Patti Pike, a Minnesota native, came east to work with her brother, Mark Nelson, at the CB Fisk pipe organ shop in West Gloucester. Here she met her husband, Brian, learned wood working, and has been teaching and making music on Cape Ann for over 30 years. When attending Longy School of Music in Cambridge, the study of Gregorian chant and early polyphony opened doors of performance and early harp building, creating over two dozen Gothic harps and hurdy-gurdys for faculty, students, and many commissions world-wide. After raising her children, Allie and Nelson, Patti taught Chorus at Rockport Middle and High Schools and was Associate Music Director at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church on Broadway. She presently directs the women’s a cappella ensemble, Sorellanza
